A behind-the-scenes view of the fins Mick Fanning jockeyed through Stab’s Electric Acid Surfboard Test.

If you missed Stab’s Electric Acid Surfboard Test, then you might not know, that Qatar airways lost Mick’s bag filled with new FCS fins. As a result, he was forced to borrow whatever he could from surf guides and fellow tourists.

While Mick made the boards sing even without the intended fins, we were relieved when he received a care package of fins, so he could properly get the boards to work.

The result? Mick deemed Matt Biolos and Donald Brink the 2022 Champions and Mick got to throw around a handful of beautiful sleds with the appropriate fins.
