ABOUT
Carissa Moore was born in Honolulu and started surfing with her father at five years old. She won her first world title at 18, stopping Steph Gilmore's run at a fifth in the process, and became the youngest female world champion in the sport's history. Four more titles followed, in 2013, 2015, 2019, and 2021. She competes under the Hawaiian flag rather than the Stars and Stripes, and every heat she surfs carries that same mix of power, innovation, and style.
Moore won the first Olympic gold medal in women's surfing at the Tokyo 2020 Games. She's picked up 30 Championship Tour event wins across her career, the second-most of any woman in the sport's history. She stepped away from the tour in 2024 and returned in 2026 on a WSL Season Wildcard, and picked up right where she left off, winning the Corona Cero New Zealand Pro for her first CT win since 2023. Five world titles, an Olympic gold, and she's still adding to both.
"I'm so excited to be joining the FCS family, and for the opportunity to work with the team to design my own signature pad and fin. FCS is renowned for making innovative products, I've loved riding the fins over the years, and I'm pumped to dig deeper into the product offering." –Carissa Moore
