HITTING THE ROAD

With a fresh offshore breeze on our back and a fun-sized south swell filling in, we packed up the newly minted FCS Land Rover to hit the road in search of empty peaks & unexplored terrain.

Armed with a fresh quiver of boards and fins, team riders Oscar Langburne and George Pittar – two surfers with diametrically opposite surfing styles – jumped in on the strike mission to go and hunt for waves.

The results? No traffic, crisp air, dusty roads, pub lunches and punchy waves.

Their first session saw the guys trade off a series of punchy left drainers with only a handful of other lucky souls out.

The next morning provided long grinding peaks where both surfers got a chance to soak their rails, without another person in sight.
